After registering a blip in the Philly scene from 2012 to 2014 with the indie trio Big Tusk, David Thompson spent most of his 20s putting his money where his mouth is, organizing with other tenants and workers to help start the Philly Tenants Union and Philly Workers for Dignity. When COVID-19 hit, confined to a rented room, Thompson began feverishly finishing some songs.
